Malakoff KL Run 2012 - 12Km @ Bukit Kiara Equestrian and Country Resort

Completed 11.63Km in 1h:30m:44s.

This is my second times on Malakoff KL Run, last year wasn't a good one, and this year is consider better. 15 minutes before start, wanted go toilet, and as usual, it was full, and there were only 4 mobile toilet near the starting line, and few at the back, and few more at another car park. There was free "half" power bar for the runner, and after consumed, we should have more water. 
So, l'm looking for toilet along the run, and run into the SHELL petrol kiosk, no luck, as there is someone doing bigger business, and no choice, pee at the "longkang" ....

Overall, the first hill consider not too bad, since it is just starting, and the hill near the SHELL and the hill near the 2nd loop not easy.

APBIM 2012 - 21Km @ Penang Bridge

Completed 21.30Km in 2h:54m:18s.

This was my second times on Penang Bridge, while last year was the 10Km run. Starting few Km are good, while the weather are hot, and I was sweat a lot during the run. Still unable to achieve the personal best for the 21Km, and hope next year on the new second bridge I will join the 42Km run instead.

Powerman 2012 - 11.4Km @ Putrajaya

Completed 11.4Km at Putrajaya in 1:34.:56.

First time joining Powerman Duathlon, I'm joining the relay which Manual Chu run 11.4Km, started at 7:10am, while coming back around 8:40am, then Calvin Tan cycled 64Km, coming back around 11:15am, then I run for another 11.4Km, finished the whole race at 12:45pm.

This time I'm using the Garmin 210 to track my running, and the accuracy should be almost 99% as compare to the Android Endomondo.

The lining up on the elite run at Putrajaya, there are so many Elite Duathlon while little Relay.

The challenging was during the transition, you can't run or cycle while on transition area. There was also timing chip, and the race bib which we need to pass to the each other once we completed our course.

The learning must have a good running belt to hold bib which we can easily pass to each other.
Next year, we will plan to join the Spirit category which run for 5.5Km, cycle 32Km, and run another 5.5Km.

LLG Run 2012 - 10Km @ Bukit Jalil

Endomondo Running Workout: was out running 10.02 km in 1h:17m:17s using Endomondo.

Looking at the time, this is the worst timing I have for 10Km. First stop at Km2, and then later almost walk and run to the finishing line.


The finishing medal booth was located almost at the end, therefore some people did not know to collect their finishing medal.

Waited the lucky draw until the end, almost 10:30am. Not that lucky afterall.

This is my 3rd Half Marathon, and I felt great after the run. I started to have improvement as long as I focus, I can run further. This is also the event I'm collected 2nd HM Finishing Tee.

Nike We Run KL 2012 - 10Km @ Jalan Ampang to Padang Merbuk

Endomondo Running Workout: was out running 10.34 km in 1h:14m:47s using Endomondo.

It was raining the whole day, and almost everyone would expect this event will be cancelled. Luckily, rain stop at 4pm, and the event continue. This year, the route is different with last year, and the starting point at Jalan Ampang, in front of MITAC, run up to the AKLAH and finishing point at Padang Merbuk. The event management arrange buses for the runners at Padang Merbuk back to Jalan Ampang.


There was finishing Tee given once completed the run, and there are some hipcup on distribution of the MEN Tee, and everyone is queue up at the counter to wait for the Tee almost 20 minutes.

Salomon X Trail 2012 - 10Km @ Stadium UPM

Endomondo Running Workout: was out running 11.34 km in 1h:33m:07s using Endomondo.

First time on trail running, total different kind of experience. Due to the rain on yesterday, and trail was muddy, and especially the entrance to the farm. We saw bullshit all the way during the run, so everyone are trying to skip it.The overall distance is about 11.3Km. Male started early, and follow by female 15 minutes later. the first female runner over took me while I was on 3Km only.

Adidas King of the Road - 16.8Km @ Sunway NPE

Endomondo Running Workout: was out running 16.74 km in 2h:16m:13s using Endomondo.

Result out of expectation. I thought I can do this better. It could be I was drinking too much of water before the run. At around 2Km, I couldn't run further, as natural called, and stop a the nearby toll toilet for a pee, losing 5 minutes there, once stop, couldn't able to continue the same pace.


This is 6:15am, and those runners already ready to run at the starting line ...

The finishing medal, finally .....

Based on the "B-Tag" tracking, I completed the 16.8Km in 2:14:26.

Men's Health & Shape Night Run - 11.8Km @ Dataran Putrajaya

I was injured last week, and therefore didn't push for this run. Anyway, I was pacing a friend who run a bit slow, and therefore couldn't manage to get the limited finishing medal (limited to top 500 only). We manage to cross the finishing line together, and we are both awesome !!

SCKLM 2012 - 21Km @ Dataran Merdeka

Endomondo Running Workout: was out running 22.39 km in 2h:48m:22s using Endomondo.

This is my 2nd Half Marathon, and I did it great with Personal Best of 2 hour 48 minutes.
It was excellent for the first 5Km, while second 5Km not too bad. Then almost walking at the last 5-8Km.



My coming 3rd Half Marathon will be in 16 September, Taiping International HM !!!

CK Charity run 2012 - 12Km @ Klang

Endomondo Running Workout: was out running 12.24 km in 1h:29m:40s using Endomondo.

This is the challenge run after a long break, manage to train myself on Friday for 5Km.
This is just another warm up session run for coming SCKLM on 24th June, hope the 21Km run will be the good one.

Luckily the run a flat, and manage to run without any problem for the first few Km. Below is the medal and certificate, no timing chip for this run, and it is using ribbon, I'm on 148 ranking.

KL Towerthon 2012 2054steps @ KL Tower

Endomondo Running Workout: was out running 0.85 km in 37m:44s using Endomondo.

This is not really a running event, it is actually a staircase climb event. there are T22 @ KL Tower, and additional T4, in total T26.


It is around 0.85Km from the bottom of the field to the bottom of the tower, and from the tower to the top there are around 2054 steps.


Completed within 38 minutes, and this is my first time.

PJ Dawn 2012 21Km @ Kenala Jaya

This is my first 21Km run, and target to complete below 3hours. Managed to complete in 2hours 54 minutes.
Next 21Km will be on Standard Charter KL Marathon on 23rd June, which target 2hours 45 minutes.


There is also finishing Tee as well after completed the race.

Energizer Night Race 2012 15.5Km @ Sepang F1 Circuit

This is my first night run, and somehow I have the mix feeling on it. The race started with internal route, and continue at the outside route. The inside route is awesome, while the outside route was small, and there are many holes here and there.


Before the race, all runner are given the headlight. There are finisher T and medal as well for 15.5Km.

This is my running event for March, and it is just 10Km. Just want to check out myself after so many >10Km training at DPC.
So far so good, at least continue non-stop running for almost 9Km now ...even it is uphill few times.
Now my official record for 10Km is 1:15:52 in year 2012.

There is finishing medal for everyone who completed the race.
